JTBC weekend drama "Rookie Employee Kang" is preparing for a dramatic turn as episode 8 is set to air on Saturday, June 21 at 10:30 PM. In newly released images from the episode, a meeting between Kang Bang Geul (Lee Joo Myung) and her older brother Kang Jae Sung (Jin Goo) takes place at a detention center where Kang Jae Sung was arrested. This meeting will heighten the tension that has been building between the Choi family members for quite some time.

Kang Bang Geul and Kang Jae Sung have never gotten along. As the head of Choi Sung Corporation, Jae Sung turned down his younger half-sister’s applications for employment more than once, and treated his mother, Jo Seon Hee, with disrespect. As the years passed, sibling hostility only intensified. As Casey Kang, entered the company where her brother was the head. With Hwang Jun Hyun, played by Lee Joon Young, by her side, she is now engaging in a battle of wits with her brother in order to take him down. Hwang Jun Hyun is carrying out the wishes of late Chairman Kang Yong Ho, played by Son Hyun Joo, and to date, he has foiled Jae Sung’s plans on more than one occasion.


Things have shifted after the arrest and investigation of Kang Jae Sung. Although charged with the kidnapping and intimidation of his own younger sister, the CEO of the Choi Sung Chemicals, Kang Jae Sung’s downfall has been surprisingly swift and left many stunned. All the while, however, another story has been unfolding. In the latest episode of Murder Investigator 2, Kang Bang Geul makes an unexpected visit to her fallen brother. What are her true motives for the meeting with him? What is it that she hopes to gain from it?

In the newly revealed preview images of upcoming OCN drama ‘Kang Bang Geul’ featuring Kang Bang Geul and Kang Jae Sung meeting at a visitation room, we can see the former appears to be at complete calmness whilst serious all at once while sitting right across from Kang Jae Sung. She seemed to have thought about her decision long enough before she ended up coming to this meeting, so we can anticipate a lot of things coming her way. What’s going on in her head before this meeting? Whether she’s going to question Jae Sung about anything, get answers to all the issues she’s been trying to figure out, or simply be able to tell him something that can change things between the two completely will be exposed.

Kang Jae Sung looks thin, worn out. When he first spots Kang Bang Geul, he looks confused for a moment before eventually lapsing into silence and lowering his head in thought. It’s a pivotal moment for the two, and their complicated history is about to reach another stage as their emotional reunion affects the battle for power with in the Choi family. Rookie Employee Kang Episode 8 will air tonight on JTBC at 10:30 PM.
